Problem description
In Microsoft Teams you can set your working location by clicking on your profile picture on the top right.
This is a nice information to share with your colleagues.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could set it per default, following your regular remote schedule (e.g. every Wednesday in the office/ else remote)?
Solution
This is not an obvious one.
To set your Teams Work Location and Working Hours you need to open Outlook in the Web browser.
- Login and open web Outlook (I usually go through office.com then click Outlook)
- Go to the full calendar view
- Click the settings gear
- Click Work hours and location
or directly click here: ▶ https://outlook.office.com/calendar/options/calendar/workSchedule
- Set the days and hours
- Save
- Restart Outlook and Teams desktop apps. Fully quit, don't just close.
