I share in this post a software recommendation for taming your different browsers.

Edit PDF Documents (Drawboard PDF Freeware recommendation)

Sometimes I get PDF documents to be filled but they aren't editable with the default Adobe PDF Reader.

I have learned today a solution for this pain point:

I highly recommend this piece of Software Browser Select free open software available in GitHub.

I mainly use it because I have different Jira or Atlassian tools instances (Jira/Confluence...): one instance per customer. And each instance requires specific login that I manage to isolate via a specific Browser Profile.

I used it as well because some web-based tools were only working in an old browser and not in my default browser.

PowerToys - Great Windows 10 Utilities

PowerToys are great Windows Utilities provided by Microsoft and Open Source.

I share here resources and my key take-aways about them.

CamGif: Great small free tool to create gifs

Update: I recommend now ScreenToGif.

I recommend CamGif to create animated images aka Gif files on Windows.

It is free, very light (700kB), portable (it is only one exe file), maintained (last update as of now Nov 2020 was in Oct. 2019), which creates small size output file and provide also edit capabilities.

Executor: My preferred App Launcher

I have been using Launchy for years.

Now Launchy is unfortunately not maintained anymore - since 2008 and its follower LaunchyQT lacks some features I was used to.

So I have looked for an alternative and came to use now Executor.

Update 2023-01-11: I have troubles getting Executor working and switched to LaunchyQt as alternative.
