How to restrict links in Jira?

I was looking for the possibility in Jira to restrict links e.g. the link type 'is tested by' shall only be possible between issues from type Requirement to type Test.
(It is quite a common feature in PTC ALM Windchill RV&S former Integrity Lifecycle Manager to be able to define links to work only between specific source and target issue types)
Unfortunately, it seems not possible natively in Jira to restrict links: all links are open and can be used for and between any issue types.

If you know of any solution for this, please leave a comment.

We had a look at this EasyLinks Add-On. Still, this Add-On requires defining additional custom fields for each link type.

This Add-On looks like a great potential one. Extended Schemes for Jira | Atlassian Marketplace
We will have a look at it.

Alternatively one could validate links at issue save e.g. using ScriptRunner or a ScriptRunner Behavior.

At the end we might leave it open in the tool, but train and inform the tool user which link they can/ shall use.
