We have recently migrated our Jira from server to the Cloud and today I have hardly missed a feature related to quick edit of fields.

I was used a lot to using the keyboard shortcuts for quick edit and quick actions in a issue view.
These are the dot . and , keyboard shortcuts.
Not possible to edit Hide when empty fields as before with . or , shortcut
Struggle in the Cloud
Atlassian does not plan to improve "in the near term", sadly :-(
In the Cloud you don't have either the possibility to edit the issue with the Edit screen.
So for now for "Hide when empty" fields, you have to look for the field manually in the More fields panel on the bottom right.
