Outlook: Conditional formatting (bug)

I have stumbled upon another Outlook bug, related to filtering - more precisely Conditional Formatting: I wanted to automatically color my meetings with attendees whose email address belongs to a specific domain (use case: color your meeting by customer)
Unfortunately, the conditional formatting does not work for attendees whose display name does not contain the email address.

Issue description

Go to View->View Settings -> Conditional Formatting -> Condition

Under Condition, I have tried to filter by Attendees matching a specific email address like this:

Unfortunately, this filter does not work for attendees whose display name does not contain the email address. (Outlook does not look behind the Displayed name, which email is used.)

Workaround

I couldn't find a better way by using the conditional formatting than to enter the names in the Attendees separated by a ; as they are shown in the meetings. This is a setup you need to do for all your customer contacts.

Note also the Conditional Formatting is tight to the View means you need to set it up for each View you are using.

I have finally found a better way to categorize my appointments based on VBA, I explain in a separate post here.
