I share in this pause a issue and a fix with OBS recording pause feature
Problem description
Today I wanted to pause a recording in OBS studio and had a wtf feeling because I couldn't find the pause recording button.
Solution
Doing some research (see what happened to the 'pause recording' button? | OBS Forums) it seems it isn't a bug but a feature ;-)
Go to File -> Settings -> Output
There is no pause option because the 'Recording Quality' is set to 'Same as stream.
You shall change this e.g. to High Quality and then Pause is available.
